An individual’s working life can span 60 or more years. Now and in the future, there will be four to five generations in the workforce at any given time. The multigenerational workforce brings an exciting and unprecedented diversity of skills, expertise, perspectives, wisdom, and life experience. Transamerica Institute and Transamerica Center for Retirement Studies have conducted extensive research on the multigenerational workforce including Generation Z, Millennials, Generation X, and Baby Boomers.

The research identifies emerging trends, attitudes, and beliefs among workers. It examines the implications of the multigenerational workforce including workers' preferences and employers' needs in order to identify win-win solutions for all.
