Transamerica Institute and Transamerica Center for Retirement Studies conduct extensive research and surveys of the workforce, including workers who are employed by others, self-employed workers and the gig economy, and individuals who are unemployed. The research highlights workers’ financial strengths and pinpoints their vulnerabilities, and it offers actionable recommendations for individuals, employers, and policymakers for improving their long-term employment and financial situations.
