Transamerica Institute and Transamerica Center for Retirement Studies conduct extensive surveys and research examining the influences of gender and LGBTQ+ status on people’s life priorities, health and well-being, visions of aging and longevity, employment, finances, and retirement security.

Transamerica Center for Retirement Studies is well-known for its research on women and retirement including the obstacles and challenges that put them at greater risk than men of not achieving long-term financial security. For nearly two decades, TCRS has published annual reports on the retirement outlook of women.
