The U.S. retirement landscape is evolving as a result of changes in the macroeconomy, workforce transformation, demographic shifts, increasing longevity, population aging, and emerging megatrends. 

For more than two decades, Transamerica Center for Retirement Studies has annually surveyed workers and employers about their attitudes, behaviors, and retirement-related expectations and preparations. The annual Transamerica Retirement Survey has become one of the largest and longest-running surveys of its kind. Over the years, the research illustrates the dynamic nature of the retirement system, emerging trends, and how workers and employers are adapting to them.
