Demographic Analysis

Demographics profoundly influence how people live, work, and retire. Transamerica Institute and Transamerica Center for Retirement Studies (TCRS) seek to shed light on ways to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion in our society so that everyone can live well, enhance their health and financial well-being, and retire with dignity.

Transamerica Institute's and TCRS' research and surveys feature in-depth demographic analysis by employment status, household income, race and ethnicity, urbanicity (i.e., rural, suburban, urban), generation, gender, LGBTQ+ status, level of educational attainment, caregiving responsibilities, and more.
