Congressional Testimony: The Challenge of Retirement Savings for Small Employers

On October 2, 2013, on behalf of Transamerica Center for Retirement Studies, Catherine Collinson testified before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Small Business, “The Challenge of Retirement Savings for Small Employers.” 

The purpose of the hearing was to examine the state of retirement savings for small employers, the barriers they face in offering plans, and options for expanding coverage.

Ms. Collinson presented a 5-minute spoken testimony (video) and submitted a written testimony.  Coincident with the hearing, Transamerica Center for Retirement Studies issued a new research report and press release on the topic based on findings from the 14th Annual Transamerica Retirement Survey.
